I have this plant with with very long, oblong shaped leaves that get very had "veins" almost like they turn into stems and then other leaves grow from these from the main leaf. It has a very thin "trunk" and the leaves get very stiff and heavy and then causes the "trunk" to droop. I do not know if it flowers since I have never seen one with flowers. Does anyone have any clue to what's it's name and how best to care for it?
a spider plant maybe? google that and see if the pictures match. if it is a type of spider plant - they are relatively easy to keep, they quite like warm spots in the house and need watering often but not so that they are soggy. They grow runners (long stems) where the baby plants then grow off of.
