What is footsies? That whole foot-play thing, what is it exactly?

Can someone explain what footsies basically is? Is it “foot sex?” and what do you do while playing footsies? And is there such a thing as “handsies?” where you use your hands instead of your feet? And what would count as footsies and what would count as handsies? Like, what movements?

This is an innocent question, if you are going to laugh at me and try and make me feel stupid for wondering, please dont. I just want to know what people think it is.

lol. footies.. is like when you when you kind of just brush your foot against someones leg or whatever underneath a table. just a playful form of flirting. not.. having foot sex.

BASICALLY the only reason footsies exists is because it’s just a way of touching someone to show your interest in them. usually you would just like touch their arm with your hand or something.. but giving them a quick touch underneath the table with your foot is the same thing.

yeah that’s a good answer… it’s just a little way to flirt… like on my first date with my boyfriend we weren’t exactly playing footsy but we were like stepping on each others feet and bumping legs and stuff… (we went to a movie)…
