What is Fenbendaz?

what is fenbendaz given for dogs? I just went to the vet and this was presbribed to my dog. they said it is use to eliminate parasites. (?)

It is a dewormer (brand name Panacur)…actually it’s spelled “fenbendazole” …they use it for horses, too…

Be glad your vet gave it to your pupper…it’s not a scary thing.

Prannie is right it is a general all round wormer. Just follow the directions. If you type the name of the med. in to your search on your browser and you will find a discription of your med. for your dog
