What is a lethargic dog?

hi my mom says that my puppy is lethargic. I dont think she is because at times she is VERY playfull. she is a maltipoo, and sometimes playful but sometimes REALLY tired. she eats fine and goes to the bathroom normally. we have a vet apointment for tomorow so hopefully she is fine:) please give me advice for my new puppy (potty training, etc) thanks:)

thanks shes only 14 wks old. we sometimes try to make sure she doesnt sleep too much or else she will wake up at 4:00am. not fun. but she usually wakes up at 6:30 so shes getting better… do you have any advice for training her to go on a potty pad?

If she’s a very young pup…they sleep A LOT (like 20 to 22 hours per day)…

I would think of “lethargic” as a pup who obviously did not feel good.

Soak with warm water on a paper towel…it’ll wipe right off.

For the potty pad I would say. To tell her no if she trys or goes on the floor and then take her over to the potty pad.

I brought her to the vet… shes fine. she is a puppy she is just suposed to sleep that much… shes going on the potty pad now so we are doing pretty well… but… shes a maltipoo and they get eye guck on their eyes so its hard to get off… any strategies?
