as far back as I can remember I’ve always called the girls I’ve been going with just sweetheart untill a few months later and ill find them a pet name:

my last girl friend I used to call my ho cake lol

dont ask please, but she liked it lol

the name must have a meaning maybe 80% for you and 20% for him

joey bear = a great friend - a great conversationist - one of a kind / genuine ;)
