What kind of chord? Major? minor? augmented? diminished? 7th?

Assuming you mean G# major the chord is G# B# D#. Note that B# is the same pitch as C natural since there is only a half step between B and C. For that mater G# is the same pitch as Ab. An Ab major chord is Ab C Eb.

If you are talking about the G# chord in a specific key signature than you may be talking about a different chord. For example, if you are playing the vii chord in the key of A than the chord that fits this key is G# diminished; in this case it would be spelled G# B D. If you are plaing the iii chord in E major than you would be playing G# minor which would be G# B D#.

It would be very unusual to write music in G# major because this would require 8 #’s including F##. Sometimes double sharps come up in music because of the way an altered chord fits functionally into a key but but unless the composer is just trying to torture the performer they would just write in Ab since it would be the same pitches.
