What highschool courses do I need for nursing?

I’m struggling to figure put the courses I need for college/university

Answer #1

health and social care , and you need to make sure that you past your scince and maths so that when you start to attend collage you can take child care or a higher health and social course

Answer #2

if your school has medical occupations it looks good on your highschool courses that youve taken when the college/university youre interested in is looking at your record.

Answer #3

Listen to what hellojinheex said except with one thing. Physics classes actually look the best of all the science classes. They are not simple memorization classes and require a bit of thinking. Thats part of the reason why all the Physics questions on the MCAT(to become a doctor) are worth WAY more then the bio questions.

Answer #4

Well, for nursing, I would recommend science/math classes.

Take Zoology, Psychology, Biology, Anatomy, Physics (you won’t need it, but it’s good to have science classes!) :) Also, I would recommend getting TONS of service learning hours at a nursing home, hospital, school etc. It looks GREAT :) My school has this thing called Medicine Academy for students who want to go into the medical field. If your school has it, go for it! :D
