What happens after I wax my top lip ?

I want to wax my top lip for the first time But im worried that it might grow back darker or even thicker. I’ve heard after a long period of waxing it stop growing back =/ is this true??

Waxing doesn’t really hurt, and the redness doesn’t last that long, just make sure your moisturize, and the hair grows back thinner every time you wax so I’d say it’s a good idea.

waxing for me is no good.. I got my arms waxed and I ended up looking like a monster for a day bc my skin is really sensitive and I broke out in huge bumpy hives…it was scary! I would never do it again. and my mom and sister have gotten their upper lip waxed and it did leave some noticeable redness for a while. if your scared of the pain ( it isnt sooo bad at all) I suggest getting a hair removal creme.. like I know sally hansen makes a good one you can get at target. I think it works well.

it’s a myth that hair grows back thicker or darker, after you wax you get used to having no hair so suddenly when theres some it’s more noticeable to you. Also it grows back with blunt tips so it’s more noticeable. And if anything bleach it cause waxing hurts =/ Make sure it’s specific bleach for your face though cause if it isn’t you will run into A LOT of problems.
