How to write a research paper?

I have to write a research paper about kidney transplants but I don’t know how to write a research paper, what do I need in it? how long does it have to be? can someone please help me thankx.

I have to write a research paper as well. I’m doing my research paper over poverty in the world. What I did first was, (of course) check on the internet about poverty. The history, the pros and cons. and causes and effects about the “situation”. After this we gathered information that would help us a lot. We then found “sources” off of the info. that we found. We made source cards. Then we made an outline. The outline helped us follow along with how our paper would go. We made an intro and the thesis statement.

Example Intro: “Kidney transplants has been a very rare topic with the average human, other then doctors or patients…ect.”

Thesis Statement Example: This paper will review some of the existing studies that reveal answers to some of the questions we have as to how kidney transplants effect the patients, families and will there ever be a cure for kidney failure.

After your intro. is written follow your outline. Fitting in your sources throughout your paper. Hope I help! :)
