What genre/image should I stick to?

Okay, so I have a very varied taste in music. I like almost everything except for rap. What I was wondering is what you think I should stick with as far as performing goes. I’ve been writing songs for about a year now, and I’ve written acoustic love songs, metal songs with waaay too much distortion on the guitar, transcendental spacey songs, and alternative rock-ish songs. All my friends say they’re all good, but were my band to choose one area to focus on, what should it be? We can be like anything from Jason Mraz to Incubus to Avenged Sevenfold.

You can mix up the music. I like bands who have different stuff,I hate bands with songs that all sound the same. Having different genres I think would get you more fans. ^^Spice it up!

I like the idea of making a transition throughout an album. Thanks for the idea. I could start hardcore and soften or vice versa.

I think you should be like an emo band or like a laid back band something like 30 seconds to mars or maybe something like jonas brothers which I highly do not suggest

Do it all:) Pick yur first song to be Hard and Pumped then as the Album goes, it gets soft!
