What format do I need videos to be to put them on powerpoint?

Im making a powerepoint about the la riots and I want to put the actual video from the rodney king beating. the thing is that when I download it and try to put it it says that its in the wrong format. Which fromat does it have to be converted into? I already tried avi and original…I don’t know what to do!! im not so good with computer stuff

WMV should be the normal file to use on powerpint (its a microsoft program, figures O_O) also try not to make em too large or the file size of the presentation will be HUGE (add all the sizes of the videos and thats how large the presentation would be)

if that doesnt work try finding a powerpoint tutorial on the net… there was another way to integrate videos using flash but I guess I missed that in IT class 5 years ago :S
