Simply a Rose to brighten your day,

    And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!

  How to LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Answer #2

its not just calories, its what you eat.

like if you eat a bag of chips with 200 calories and a coke with 150 calories its under 1200 calories, but its still really bad for you.

substitute the coke with water and the chips with grapes or something with nutrients and not so much sugar stuff.

its more healthier and will get you going easier.

Answer #3

15 minutes of walking is not enough maybe try 45 minutes of walking or 30 minutes of jogging also you should lift weights in the morning to make your metabolism boost through out the day

Answer #4

Eating 1200 calories a day is a bad idea. If you eat low calorie diet for more than 3-4 days your body is going to adjust and burn less each day to make up for this. Every fourth day you need to eat your maintain calories to keep this from happening. Since you have already started this diet I would suggest eating at your maintain for a week for your body to readjust to that first. Eat 5-6 times a day and never skip breakfast. This will also help keep your metabolism high. Last but not least, you need to weight train. Resistance work outs burn way more calories than cardio. You want to work your large muscle groups..back, abs, chest, legs at the very least.

Don’t worry about getting bulky, as a girl you don’t have the right hormones to bulk up like guys do. It will help you build lean muscle which will help burn more calories.
