What does this guy mean when he texts me?

okay, so I like this guy, and I was really upset about something so I texted him because I needed someone to talk to. he listened to what I was saying and was concerned and asked if I was alright. then we chatted about casual stuff for a while and then he just randomly stopped answering. so I didnt bother him anymore, but the next day after dinner, he continued yesterdays conversation! I was excited, and the same thing happened last night, where he randomly didnt answer. so im hoping he’ll answer me tonight again, but im just wondering…if he’s bothering to take the time to keep talking to me, do you think he might be interested? and when he texts me he asks questions and sounds like he’s really…you know, INTO the conversation. I’ve hung out with him and a few of his friends and he talked to me the whole time, and let me listen to his ipod with him. I’ve learned not to overreact this early, but please, let me know if you think he might like me! thankyou :)

Alright, there could be 2 different things going on. 1st it could bethat he does like and he talks to you so much becuase he wants to get to know you better becuase thats what it seems like. Or 2nd, if you guys have been like this for a while (the texting and hanging out) like if its nothing new, than it could be that your in the friend zone hun. But it does sound more like he likes you.
