What Does My mouse have?

I Got my pet Mouse a couple weeks ago like a month or so. And the last 2 weeks I’ve been noticing she has a dsgusting Red infection on the back of her Neck right under her head. its all scabby and swollen- and I dont have the Money To take her to The vet for like 2 more weeks. what is this rash and how can I Help my pet?

What have you had lately? Mice can get what you have. My kids had chickenpocks once and gave it to the hamster.

Vet’s are not that expensive. If you call around and check the prices. An honest vet’s assistant will tell you a price over the phone.

Is the cage clean. I would give your mouse a bath and thoughly clean it’s cage and everything in it. That is the least you should do.

You need to take it to the vet- maybe ask your parents for a short term loan, and pay them back.

If you don’t have the money to take your pet to the vet if it needs it, why do you have a pet in the first place? You need to be able to afford the necessities of life before taking on an animal, and that includes providing healthcare for it. It’s not a toy, it’s a reponsibility.
