What do I do about my Dad hitting me?

My dad hit me. I thought I was just being a bit bad. Then he did it again, and again, and again. For no reason. Then he just threw me against a wall and beat me. He told me not to tell my mom, or else. What do I do!?

Answer #1

This is what I would do…..set up a hidden camera to catch him in the act (evidence)….I would make a copy of it and give it to a trusted friend with the instructions: 1) show it to No-one unless I tell you to….keep it somewhere very safe 2) anything really bad, give it to the authorities….NO-ONE deserves this abuse….I might use it to spur my mother into action or last resort, use it to show him, advising there’s another copy so the abuse stops TODAY !….I might also present your situation as a HYPOTHETICAL to a person in authority (minister/police/trusted adult) to get some advice/feedback (ie: I have this friend……)….bottom line and MOST imortant, YOU STAY SAFE !….you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers…….

Hunny, i know he is your father && you love him. But their is somthing seveirily rong with him if he is abusing you. If yo have any markes or bruses from the incedent i sugjest, if your close to your mother, show them wo her && then she will handle everything. Good luck babe. Layra♥

Answer #5

ok.. the real answer to this question is… TELL SOMEONE!!!!!! Honey, I knwo you dont wantt o get your dad in trouble or anything but you need to tell someone as soon as possible.

Answer #6

You should really talk to someone that you trust, though telling your mom right off the bat might not work. Unless she knows about your dad’s oddities, she might not believe you (worst case scenario). Try talking to a teacher, guidance councillor, or another adult that you trust. At the very least, you should talk to a friend that you can trust to keep quiet.

I hope things turn out okay.

If you don’t get this addressed it will ruin your life. I have been beaten since I was 5 or so, and it didn’t stop until I was 16, and it has destroyed my self confidence. I don’t know how to take a compliment, I’m constantly wary that someone will do this to m eagain and most worrying - I fear all the time I will become like my dad.

As I had a little boy myself, that last fear because so bad that I faked an affair to get a divorce. Now his mum has found a new partner so he’s safe. But I miss him..
