yesterday at school, I was reakky quiet, and when my teacher asked me questions I gave short mumbled 1 word questions. (iwas really tired). im really quiet in school, do you think he thinks that im stuck up caz I dont really answer him that well? how can I convince him im not?

Answer #1

He probley just think you are shy - it doesn’t sound like you are stuck up - it sounds like you are shy and get embaressed easy.

Answer #2

People think I’m stuck up all the time (even though I’m just shy), but teachers are usually better at deducing the difference between stuck up and shy.I dont know what he thinks, but in general smiling and answering questions helps.

Answer #3

Yeah sometimes I just mumble one-word answers…especially at the end of a long-day when I can’t even be bothered to speak or think anymore. It doesn’t sound stuck up at all really. Lots of kids at my school don’t even bother to answer at all, or they shout back some rude comment. next time you have him, if you’re feeling more energetic, just get on with your work and if he asks you a question just give the best answer you can.

Answer #4

he’ll just think you’re shy, and probably be glad you’re not a student that screams out answers and doesn’t give others the chance, the most he will do is say you need to contribute more in lessons.

Answer #5

He probably thinks that you are really shy. On your report card It’ll say “needs to participate in class discussions”. You may be able to avoid this by asking some questions… MY 200TH ANSWER!!
