Main ingrown hair symptoms include constant tenderness in the affected area, itching, tingling, or mild to severe pain.In chronic cases, hard, prominent, irregular scar tissue may develop.

Trapped, ingrown hairs can cause the body to form a bump, or papule - a small, raised abnormality on the sin.

Pustules, blisters containing pus, can develop and then become infected, rupture and bleed.

Consultation with a physician may be necessary in extreme cases.

I get those sometimes if I shave too fast. One time it got reeeaalllyyy bad, and it was like a giant zit with a hair in the middle. Usually, I just squeeze it and get all the puss out, and then take a needle and tweezers and pluck the hair out.
