What do you think of the iPad?
Did you get an iPad? If so, what do you think of it? Worth the money? Piece of crap? Most amazing thing ever? Etc. Yep, it’s that simple.
My wife wants one but is holding out for the 3g.
They are sleek, attractive, and well marketed. Other companies have been trying to sell pads for years but they were always a niche product. No doubt Apple will show everyone how they desperately needed one all along but just didn’t know it.
As I understand it these are not a good replacement for ebooks since the lcd screen is harder on the eyes than epaper. They are also not a replacement for a desktop. I think they will be a lot like iPods and iPhones and be good for filling in the boring times between other activities; y’know the time our low-tech predecessors had talk, read books, or contemplate the nature of existence to fill.
I see the iPad as yet another step in process of making us constant consumers and provide continuous stimulation so we can develop the attention span of a ferret. It will likely be the end of civilization as we know it but I still want one.
Well my dad makes it(I’m 13 btw) and he says It Is going to outrank all the apple stuff. It is the best thing that ever happened to apple
Its not a bad piece of tech, just over prices b/c it says ‘Apple’ on it. Also you can’t run anything that runs off of flash on it, so no YouTube or google video, and no flash games. I’m also not very found of Apple’s polices on all their products. They are very strict and controlling on products you have bought, and own.
IMO only way to get your money out of any of the iCrap is to jailbrake it.
