What do you think about the advisors

We Advisors are simply members like all of you and we are human. We are subject to emotional highs and lows so are therefore sometimes capable of being “short” and moody.

I think that some of the Advisors give excellent advice, just as do many Non-advisors.

Remember, though, Advisors are just like you and have the same ability to “not click” with various individuals just as you. It may simply be a clash of personalities but shouldn’t be taken really as a personal attack.

If you do seem to have a problem with an Advisor, try Fun Mailing them and seeing if you can’t work out the situation. Be considerate and try communicating in a peaceful, non-confrontational manner.

Another thing: Whenever you have a Question that gets Deleted because of a violation of the Terms of Use, the site’s robot automatically sends you a Fun Mail under the name of the Advisor who deleted it explaining why it got deleted.

DON’T be offended. Many people occasionally violate the Terms of Use, even Advisors. It isn’t a big deal and doesn’t get held against you unless you are habitually doing it.

The purpose of the Advisors is to help make the site run smoother and to protect the site from posts that increase the liability of the site.

If you have have site related questions, feel free to ask any Advisor. If they can’t answer it they will refer it to another Advisor.

I havent seen an advisor that is particualy up themselves. some of them arent really nice, but they DO give good advice, which is the main point.

there are some I really like, they give really good advice they are kind and help people out. But it seems like there are some advisors(only 1 or 2) who think that their opinion is fact and they are the end all be all of every discussion that takes place, I don’t know if it is because they are like that in real life or because they are given internet power and feel like a big shot but they are kind of annoying. I really do think most of the advisors on here do a good job though.

I don’t think I have a problem with any of them. They all give good advice, and most of the time people think they don’t give good advice, it’s just because they’re stating the harsh but true facts.

The advice they give is generally really good :)

The advisors are a hard working bunch- while I don’t always agree with them, I think they all do a fab job. We each have our strengths and weaknesses, but I think there’s usually at least one of us who is pretty knowledgeable in each of the categories.
