what do you think

my doctor says she dosen’t think im pregnant but she said to stay on my birthconrtol pills she put me on and if I miss my period this month I should take a pregnancy test, shouldn’t the doctor know if I was pregnant or not or could it be to early to tell and thats why she’s saying this.

Answer #1

Uhm, I’m guessing it was way too early to tell…

Answer #2

I agree…

if you’re on ‘the pill’… it works by replicating the hormones of pregnancy… it tricks your body, you don’t ovulate. so if you should have got your period after you started taking them that might be why…

Answer #3

I think that you need to find a new doctor. All doctors know that if you’re pregnant taking birth control pills could have some very serious side effects on the baby. So why would she tell you to continue taking them? Also you can tell from a blood test very early in the pregnancy…as soon as the fertilized egg is implanted in the uterus. So why didn’t she do one?

This whole thing really makes no sense…a doctor shouldn’t tell you that they’re not sure if you’re pregnant so continue to take the pill.

Answer #4

What did she do that made her say she doesn’t think you’re pregnant? Because as a professional she should have taken a blood test and/or urine sample to see. She cant just look at you or ask you things and come to a conclusion that she doesn’t think you’re pregnant, it doesn’t work like that.

What did she say/do to some to this conclusion?
