What do you guys think about me going into the military?

So, I really want to go into the army.. but I’m really intrested in your guys opinion. Do you agree with it or not? A turn off of on? What do you think about it? Your opinion is greatly appreciated :)

Answer #1

You know what, I am in the same boat as you Lea, I want to join the army, but can’t face the pain I could cause my friends, they are one of the only reasons holding me back.. I was asked not to because they were so scared for me. Its something you need to think long and hard about, if you really want to, its a really good, noble and brave thing to do. I respect you tremedulsly if you are going further than me in really really thinking about it, most guys wouldn’t find it a turn off, in fact a lot of lads I know find a strong, self confident woman sexy or very attractive. I agree with it 150%, you need people to protect countries, there are bad people out here just waiting to take control over other places. and I feel they need to be stopped and taken away so people can leed their lives to the fullest and make sure they’re as happy as they can possibly be.

Answer #2

you should do it for you and no one else! its a very good career… and girls in uniform are sexy

Answer #3

I’m a former Marine and happy I did my time. I’m also happy to be out so…

Answer #4

well my best friend is in the army and he’s been to kuwait and all that (im not gay) and I’ve asked him how it is over there and he says it isnt that dependind on what part of the army you want to go into. and personnally I think a girl in unform is really sexy. so you going into the army would be a big turn on for me.

Answer #5

sure you not going to fight :) but if you love the matter “ joinin’ the army “ I nominate you to office working, social and psychological service for the soldiers somethings like that. you have to know that you are a girl and a pretty girl too :) you can serve the country in many other ways except the military, leave it for men. :)

Answer #6

well I think is a beautiful thing you doing serving are country kudo 2 you :]] but the sad this is I wont be able 2 talk 2 know 1 ]]:

Answer #7

if you want too then do it!my dad was going to join the army but then his grandpa got sick and he had to take care of him

Answer #8

I’m not to hoped for army personally go to AF or to marines they treat officers MUCH BETTER but it’s your choice to do what ya want if you ever need an airstrike though let me know. besides for one to willingly lay there life on the line for others is the greatest example and sign for ones live and service to their fellow country men. I suggest you go to a military school though because when you graduate you are an officer and that means more $$$ and also more action.

Answer #9

maybe its a good choice for you.

they have good benefits.

ask yourself this question: do I want to become a soldier and DIE?

Just follow your desire.

Answer #10

Well it is your choice but I think it would be great to be in the military. I prob would if I wasn’t diabetic. I have a lot of respect for people in the military so if you do thank you. Go for the choice you wanna go for. Good luck and God bless. =)

Answer #11

I don’t know why you’d want to go in the army. It seems like it’d be so much work, it’s dangerous, and you have to be away from your family and friends for a long period of time. But if you really want to do it and you’re sure of it then go for it.

Answer #12

salomoncito, not every soldier in the military dies. Be thankful for the ones that have died for you. I hope they RIP

Answer #13

Like just about everyone else is saying, it’s you choice and if going into the army is really what you want to do then go for it and do not let anything anyone might say change your mind.

Me my brother and my best friend are all going to recruit together in a few months, in the Marines, I figured since I want to and most of my family through out time have been I might as well and I can’t put a number on how many people have tried to talk me out of it, but I just ignore it, you should to.

Answer #14

It is your choice. Not really sure why you are worried about what guys think of going into the service. If you want to do it than you probably are not interested in guys who would find it offensive. You need to be yourself and find someone who appreciates you for who you are.

My problem with the military is that our government seems a little too eager to risk young people’s lives in conflicts we have little or no business being in. The last time congress declared war was WWII but we have been in many conflicts since them on the whim of the president in charge.
