What do you call soft drinks?

Soda or Pop?

I call it soda. My mom calls it soda, my dad calls it pop. I’m confused, is it pop, soda or soda pop?

I’m from Uniontown,Pennsylvania. Its near Pittsburgh an EVERYBODY calls it “pop” You’ll never hear anybody call it soda if they are from my area

My first husband was from minnesota and they called everything a coke. “you wanna coke?” “Sure, Ill take a root beer”. Weird
