What do you call a strict parent?

What is overprotective and strict in your definition? I’m a very curious person and I would like to hear from the world just to gain more knowledge and know what I’m doing without regreting it..

Answer #1

Overprotective: you’re 22 and your Mom insists on going along on your dates - Strict: often misunderstood for ‘Caring’ - such as Parents who are doing their jobs - trying their best to mold you into a well-grounded person because they genuinely Love you, are looking after your best interests, and only want what’s good for you and will keep you safe…hope this helps !! :-)

Answer #2

Dear blablabla, STRICT: incapable of compromise or flexibility. Most…not all but most parents are willing to compromise and show flexibility unless they have been given reason not to. Will they compromise on a curfew? Lets say you want to be in at 12 and they say 10…will you both agree on 11? Will they be flexible…say a friend calls you and you still have chores to do…will they say okay you’re almost done so go but you need to finish when you get back. If they are more likely to do these things your parents would not be classified as strict. Sue…good luck
