What do you think I really need help

Theres this guy I have a major crush on. We went out before. All of my friends say the he still likes me and they say its totally obvious. he flirts with me a lot, stares at me, we hang out every once in a while. Last summer we hung out every single day! then somthing happend… our friend made up a lie about me and he told my crush that I made out with this one guy and that I was going out with him. whis was totally untrue. and my crush thought it was true then he stopped talking to me for like 2 months. now we hang out every once in a while were friends and stuff and my friends still think that he likes me and stuff. he always stares at me and when I catch him he smiles turns red and looks away. and when my friends bring my name up to him he smiles and turns tottally red. one of my friends just told me somthing that he said to his mom about me. and his mom told my friends mom (they are friends) that my crush said that he doesnt like me because he saw me steal somthing at walmart or somthing and that I always lie about being somwhere where I really not. and I dont even know what hes talking about!! Anyways. the thing is that he doesnt want my friend to fine out that he likes me because he knows that she will tell me. And he cant let his parents know because hes not allowed to date till hes 18. we used to like me a lot!! And I mean a lot!!! and we were both really liked eachother a lot. I just want to know if he still likes me. I mean it seems like he still does, like I mean the signals he sent the last time I hung out with him. We were playing tag and and ran up to e and grabbed my shoulders and then he kept picking me to be it all the time. And he would do it jokingly and we would both laugh. and he kept saying, “im going to get you” to me it just seemed like he did. but what he said to his mom I dont know if it was just like a cover up or somthing so they wont find out that he likes me or do you think its really true? Because I think thats a stupid reason not to like somone.
