Do you think I should visit my estranged mother?
Do you think I should go and see my mom after 5years since I was adopted and I miss her I was planning to go to nevada from colorado on a bus??what you think??
well I think that you should…no matter what happens I’m a sure a mother will always love their child…I think you should do…I’m not so sure about the bus thing but I think you should go and visit her
I think you should as long as she’s okay with it. Does she know that your coming there? If she doesn’t you should deff tell her!!! Do you not see her a lot because of the distance? or because she doesn’t want to see you frequently?
Pook, Before you do anything try and locate her by phone talk to her and play “catch up” over the phone. Don’t get your hopes up as to how you think she will act..be strong and never allow another human being to control your happiness…No matter how they are physically related to you..OK? You can funmail me after you speak with her and tell me how she is acting..if you want.Good-luck!! Familycoach
I think that it would be a good thing to go if you are ready, and what not don’t get your hopes up though people tend to get disapointend when they do that.
If you both want to work on this relationship though then that is great. Make sure that it is something that you both want though and not just something that you want.
my Mother and I have not spoken to eachother in two years almost three ( very soon to be three)…I ended up in foater care after she abandonded me though…I was not one of the lucky ones who got adopted I aged out in Feb. 2008…
You are lucky though that you have found a family and I hope that they suport you in this choice.
Be good to your self and best of Luck. May you fix what was once broken.

My mother has done so much to me it’s not even funny… but theres always that hope inside of me that she and things will get better… I say do it but be guarded about it. first priority: guard your heart let the rest follow
