What do I do with an abusive uncle?

Hi I have a uncle who is an emotional abuser..who used to always humiliate ,shame or try to put me down in public when I was a child…always used to test my intelligence and compare it to his sons…now I got a chance to recommend his son to a job through my husband..where as I myself am jobless…what do you recommend ,I should help him or not?

for my uncle his sons are his world..and abused me with a fear that I might beat his son in studies (as I once won in a quiz competition against him ) ..he just wants his son to be better than anybody else..

Whether you give a reference to the boy should have nothing to do with your Uncle. Do you think he would be a good worker? Dependable?

Well, I take it, that his sons never did what their father has done to you. Why should he pay for something his father did? I say, recommend him. Help the boy out.
