What do I do with messed up eyebrows?

I just had the worst experience getting my brows waxed. A friend of mine invited me to get pampered with her and we went to her regular nail salon. The woman who did my brows was at least in her sixties. She made them thin, rounded and super arched, AND she penciled them in with heavy make up. I washed off the make up, but they are thin and I look permanently surprised. This is like a lesser version of a terrible haircut. I am extremely fair skinned, so brow make up looks rediculous. Can I do anything with them?

OKAY DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAAD ADVICE..NEVER SHAVE your EYEBROWS OFF!!! NEVER!!! THE BEST ADVICEI COULD GIVE YOU RIGHT NOW IS TO GO BUY AN EYEBROW PENCIL..BUT!!! LOOK FOR ONE THATS A TAD BIT LIGHTER OR THE EXACT SAME COLOR OF your HAIR COLOR..AND YOU CAN USE THAT TO DEFINE AND DARKEN your EYEBROW AND THAT WILL HELP a lot..DONT PRESS TOO HARD WHEN your DOING SO..KIND A JUST A LIGHT SKETCH YOU MAKE..IT WORKED FOR ME..AND IT STIL LDOES WHEN I NEED IT! and I also heard that you can use eyeshadow or sumthing like that like or eyebrow shadow and fill it in lightly I think that both ways look natural..and maybe get some bangs…to cover them up a bit..to be honest w. you because I’ve been thru that..it takes about a complete MONTH for your eyebrow hair to come back..all of it that is! so yea..good luck!

ps..next time go to someone who has been recomended for such jobs..eyebrows are really important! and delicate!! not to mention..its on your face..

NO DONT REMOVE THEM COMPLETELY!

I’m fair skinned and my eyebrows are brown but have some light spots. I buy this eyebrow filler from Red Earth (thats the brand) it’s a bit expensive.. around $40 and it’s really little but when you think about it, you hardly use much. Mine is medium brown and it has a dark brown powder with a lighter shade of brown right next to it so you can blend the colors for a more natural look. I’ve had this for over a year and a half and still have plenty.

Also, get bangs just like some suggested. It’s easier and they look great.

Update: The make up she put on looked terrible. When that came off, the brows aren’t as drastically mis-shapen. My husband hasn’t noticed yet, thank god. And no one has asked me if I’m auditioning for Memoirs of a Geisha either. Thanks for the advice. From now on, I will only go to the girl I know and trust.

Go buy an eyebrow pencil that is the same color as your eyebrows and just touch them up till the hair grows in.

I had a eyebrow piercing go wrong so my one eyebrow doesn’t go out all the way because of the stitches so I have to draw it on and you cant even notice.

Answer #5

Lol, uh no I dont think you should remove them completely. Pencil them in. If you’re really desperate, get some bangs to cover them up. And yeah, 2 weeks, it’s not the end of the world…

Answer #6

totally remove them, and say you were in a terrible fire and they got burned off. then pencil them in, and people will feel sorry for you rather than mock. or just pencil them in as well as you can to make them look normal, and in a few weeks they’ll be fine again. remember, the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is 2 weeks. good luck, and keep on living the dream.

Answer #7

WAX them off…NOT SHAVE they’ll look gross…and fill them in with eye pencil.

Answer #8

get bangs
