What do I do when I'm in love with a guy that isn't my type. ?

Ok this guy that moved to my school last year and ever since he’s liked me and I’ve liked him. I tried getting my friends to ask him out for me. But I always end up being scared and telling him that my friends did that just to anoy me and that it was fake. The reason why I keep doing this is becuse I’m way out of his league. And when I say way I mean I’m a cheerleader and he’s like a guy who smokes, and all of that stuff, and in my school that’s not cool, and my other friends who are like way popular than my friends who want to ask him out for me. They would like freak big time!! So the beginning of this year he used to run into me then help me pick up my books and all of that. Well he dosent anymore and I’m really really wanting him to ask me to the snowball dance, and prom. What do I do!! Please help me I can’t get him outa my head!!

Your question is the defination of hypocrisy. How can you “love” a guy when hes not your type ? hence you dont love him and just have sexual urges you cannot understand, or maybe you do like him and he is your type , you just think hes not your type cause you dont really know what your type is !

When you allow the opinions of others to get in the way of your happiness, you end up alone.

You need to figure out which is more important to you - being popular but unhappy, or being happy but outcasted.

If you ask me, your popular friends don’t have your best interests in mind - they’re only there to pass judgment and you’re better off without them…perhaps the boy IS your type, and your friends are not.
