What do I do im being abused but..?

my dad and I get into really huge fights over the dumbest things! He hits me really hard!drags me by my hair,throws stuff at my face, just hts me.I feel that thats no the way he should punish me, and I always tell him that when he hits me it scares me b/c his basically a women beater.I’ve had nightmares of him itting and raping me..our fights are about once a month..I want to get away frm my cruel parents for a bit, but dont want to blow it out of porportion.what can I do, NOT get the cops I need my parents I want to go to collage and their paying sucks!

its not right that your dad is doing this and you have to call the cops. and just like jaz said, unless your mom abuses you too, she is not going away.

you need to speak up… yea I get it, you wanna go to college but if hes abusing you this bad now what makes you think that hes going to pay for your college? I understand that you dont wanna go to the cops,,but maybe before you do that you should talk 2 another family member (aunt, grandparent, etc.) and if that doesnt work go to the police,,or you could ask your mom if you can live w/someone else for a while

I dont get it? your being abused by your dad but dont want to call the police on him because you need your parents to pay your way through college? just call the cops, there not going to arest your mum as well unless she abuses you too. your dad is physically abusing you this is illegal and wrong and you need to speak up if your dad is your only parent and the only person who could pay for college, there are other ways you can ake money to afford it, and some colleges will work out a plan that suits you and how much you can afford
