What career should I go into?

So.. I went to college for nursing. Ended up absolutely hating it!! I am now stuck here, wondering.. What am I going to be when I grow up?!? Well.. The grow up part is pretty much done.. and I”m still pretty much nothing.. I have a job, and I do work, and have a lot of good in life.. but I guess everyone around me thinks I should get a college degree.. Make more money.. and so on.. So.. I’ve been looking and trying to figure out what would fit me.. I enjoy many many things.. Just not yucky things.. Some of the things I DO NOT like are… Blood, bodily fluids, snot, stinky dogs, vomit, and pain. Other than that I’m pretty well rounded and would do well pretty much anywhere.. I love office work. I love children. I love computers. I love pictures. I want to do something that Does NOT take forever in school, but does have a rewarding pay when I do get a job. Can anyone help me out?!? Any suggestion?!? Thanks so much!! Oh yeah.. I’m also looking into Psychology, Social Work, and stuff like that, but the schooling is like many many years!!

It’s hard to advise you on something like this. You can only try jobs that interest you and see if its really what you want to do. Let me tell you though, every job will be boringafter a while! So you have motivate yourself and do your job, take the rough with the smooth and live your private life the way you want to, doing what you want. Then doing any job will be easier because you know that after work you’ll be doing something fun.

Every job has its ups and downs. The best thing is to look into something that has always interested you. I’ve always liked hair so I want to learn to be a stylest. It’s one of the easiest fields to go into, most of the time it just takes 2 years, and you can specialize in an area you like ( dying hair, cutting, braiding, etc) and if you learn how to dye your own hair or cut it, your own hair can you fantastic. Some salons have flexible hours, or you could even open your own salon. But thats my dream, I hope you find what you are looking for.
