What can I do about my menstrual acne?

My skin used to be pretty bad and I have a few acne scars, but it started to clear up. Recently though I have been breaking out pretty badly the week leading up to and during my period, especially around my mouth. So I know it is hormonal acne, what is the best thing I can do??

well you could go your doctor and go on birth control. certain pills like yaz are made specifically to also treat hormonal acne and can work wonders (:
