You should ask your dermatologist more questions when you’re unsure about anything. Maybe your medicine takes longer to show results, I don’t know that. If your medication is for a prescribed period of time and your skin didn’t get any better after it, you HAVE to go back to your dermatologist so that he can suggest an alternative treatment or a stronger dosage of medicine.

As advanced as medicine is today, every person reacts differently to different medicines, so you’ll have to be patient and cooperate with your doctor/dermatologist in finding out the best solution through a trial and error process.

And as hard as it is, I think you should only use minimal or no make up at all, because caking on foundation is only going to clog up your pores and the airways in your skin, which will make you skin worse. It’s a catch 22, but you have to go ‘’natural’ (make-up free) while you’re under medication so that you can achieve the full effect of the medicine without outside factors like make-up that might counteract or slow down your healing process. Or, you can get your dermatologist to recommend a light but effective cover-up product.
