What should I do about my Mom and her boyfriend?

my mum and her boyfreind had a go at me on boxing day and he said that it was wrong to sleep in my brothers room (I had my brothers permission to do this as we were watching a film) and rob (my mums boyfreind) had a go at me and said what if there was a fire. rob afterward said mum was a lapse parent but she then said he was lapse for no telling her sooner. the next day mum said were moving out but they made up on the 29 of december but now I hate rob and my mum what should I do??

Dear paulisfunky, There are different laws for different states and countries. I believe in some of the States it is age 5 or 6. Also there are laws about renting apt. that do not have enough bedrooms for each child. These laws have been around for a reason…you should not be sleeping in your brother’s room or him yours. Watching a movie etc with parental consent should pose not problem for some but it can for others. So I would just follow the rules at home and try choosing your words better…you don’t really hate your mom you are just disappointed that she is taking her boyfriends side. Legally he is probably right. Sue…good luck

but really she thinks he is petty and my mum has let me down a lot also my brother is 18 and he said ‘’you can sleep in my room and watch a dvd wit me’’
