What can hurt a thru body neck?

Im looking a b.c. Rich mockingbird bass im just wondering if hanging it from a fretrest or any other wall stands would hurt the neck. They are really heavy.

I would think so after all its a guitar and if its built well enough it should be able to hang by the neck regardless of its weight I bet the guitar shops would have them hanging by the neck for display, so I dont see how anything bad could happen to it

I dont think it would damage it… But I’d rather be safe, and get like a stage stand for it
