what can happen to me?
hi I am living in ireland and I download films from bittorrent and lately some of the sites I use to download from there are warning messages saying that if I download this my ips is tracking and I can get into trouble for downloading it and I read up a bit about this and heard that people outside the US are ok that it only crackes down on them there is this true am I safe to keep using it as I have used this program for nearly 5 years now and othing has happened to me up to now and I do use it a lot
you should download a program that hides your ip. It helps a lot :)
It’s a miner site, which means the law isn’t checking up on it a lot. You could go to court and get some jail time, but three years at most, and with good behavior, six months. But it is a risk, if not a big one. You could continue to download.
Simple, don’t download illegal videos… lol!
