bethliveyourlife is 100% correct. Intranet is like a university that has their own system that allows students to communicate and receive info and internet is word wide.

intranet is local eg. most schools have there own intranet were there’s info about the school and links to homework help ect. Businesses also may have intranet. Only the people in the business can see the information on that site.

Internet is world wide. everything on it is available to anyone
