what are the 9 planets

what are they 9 planets

Answer #1

scientistS<< gosh how old are u? I learned the planetts in kindergarten I was 5!!

Answer #2

I agree with thehairdude. PLuto isnt a planet. Yeah, we’d all like to say it is but technicically speaking it could be a captured asteroid from one of the outer belts. I dont necessarily agree with that different orbit thing though. I mean yes it does your right, but at the same time, Neptune is like that too. Every so many thousands of years its orbit brings it closer to us than Uranus, but its still considered a planet. I personally was waiting for Pluto to be redefinied though and I agree with them. Progress is progress

Answer #3

the stupid scientist decided it isnt anymore because “its to small” thats just dumb

Answer #4

scientists decided pluto wasnt applicable to be a planet anymore was it is a “dwarf” planet. of course meaning small. also its gravitational rotation around the sun is different than the other 8. it tips at a 17 degree angle around the sun. also there is other dwarf planets that are actually slightly bigger than it. the scientists in 1930 didnt of course have the same tech as we do today to see things in space.
