What are some ways to help stage fright?

Answer #1

act like its another rehearsel and don’t whatever you do look at your family, find out where they are sitting and ignore them, it sounds cruel but it really helps, also you’ve done it a thousand times, you know you can do it. and remember to breathe and that you’ll be fine.

one thing about stage fright is that it can be the worst experience but in the ned you have a lot of things with you, for example a diva style and some great memories but one way of solving stage fright is concuring your fears and that means kareoke night…ok everyone knows its difficult especially your first time so lets start with people who have no chance of laughing at you like your parents,

  1. get a kareoke machine or practise a dance or whatever you want to do and how much ever you have done completely perform it in front of your parents wait for their comments and they have to be good but incase they are not dont stop over to your room note it down in your head and make sure you dont make that mistake again. 2.if you think you have practised in front in enough wth your parents or are simply not having dont worry there’s an other option, gather some friends who like the same hobby as you and practise it with them you will have no chance to drop out and just imagine the amount of gossip you’ll be missing without. 3.if your prepared after parctising hard enought by point 1. or 2. then lets get on stage and not alone with your buds or your parent(but make sure they are good!) or siblings or relatives…anyone but not alone your not that ready yet but in a group you’ll feel that you have someone to depend on even if you do something wrong which is not possible with all that practise. 4.ok so its time to go solo and for good maybe not in a dance cause they look better in a group but something, dont let a couple of people race you away fom your goal but if your still scared I am sure your parent will be there and after performing in front of them so much your comfortable so keeping your eyes focused on them and not on anybody else act as if there are only you and that special person and then everything will be perfect and you’ll get over your stage fright but always remember nobody’s perfect cause we’r in a world of imperfection so if you make a mistake put it in your scrap book and the next time you look at it try laughing it’ll help a lot…
