what are some of the daily responsibilities of a typical teen... ?

My mom told me that all I have to do is o to school and get my education,come home do my homework and every other week clean my room which I rarely do seeing that my floor is rarely dirty. The only reason it’s like that is cause I’m the only teenager in the house.

theres too much to type for that question lol, but to sum up whats in my head. I guess I could say is to take responsibility of your actions. know your consequences of not doing important things. being mature in situations. and to not act like a child. because acting like a child completely cancels out everything else I just listed. if you think theres something you should do (not necessarily HAVE to do) in a positive manner, then do it. know your advantages of doing things that should be done (ex. School work, household chores, making smart decisions on life) and yeah. if you understand your advantages then thats a lot of the responsibilities a “teen” should have.

well, im sixteen. I just finished homeschool and am in the process of getting my GED, I have a hardship drivers’ license… I work part time waitressing, I have to be home by eleven, sometimes midnight if im working late or if we have a church function… I sing, lead youth choir, and am an interpreter for sign language in church… my mom expects me to pay my phone bill, pay my tithes to the church, keep a clean house if she’s working, and cook every other night of the week. I don’t know if im a typical teen or not, but I do have a lot of responsibilities!

wow, thats an interesting question, When I was a teen I had chores like dishes and cleaning my room, Doing homework and going to school, really I dont think teens should be asked of anymore then that, then again whats your definition of Typical teen? In some cultures teens are pre arranged to marry, or simply go to work, it depends on your cultural background I guess or your family values. One thing I can say for sure is enjoy those teen years because they dont last long.

I think teens responsibilities are to go to school and get an education. You also go home respect your parents and do your chores and everything. You do your best to succeed and thrive on excellence!
