What are good screamo/metal/emo/grunge/industrial goth bands?

Not any that are kindah crappy, some that would make me go WOW O.O haha.

Screamo and emo - can’t help with these…

Metal - Depends what sort of metal you want, but here’s a very tiny selection: Death Alestorm In Flames Hypocrisy Turisas Elis

Industrial - again, depends what you mean. If you mean proper industrial… Throbbing Gristle is the only band I know, I think. xD

If you mean EBM/aggrotech: Combichrist Amduscia Grendel Uberbyte Noisuf-X Tactical Sekt FGFC820

If you mean industrial rock/metal: Oomph! Eisbrecher Snake River Conspiracy Megaherz Angelspit KMFDM Celldweller

Goth: The Sisters Of Mercy (some of) The Cure Bauhaus Siouxsie and the Banshees Rosetta Stone Alien Sex Fiend The Birthday Party

And I have no idea what alternative music is supposed to be. People seem to use it to describe bands like Paramore and My Chemical Romance, but everybody listens to them, so they’re not very ‘alternative’…

I probably got some of these wrong. Don’t kill me. :)

I listen to the devil wears prada, I set my friends on fire, bring me the horizon, and between the burried and me, that’s pretty much it for them maybe if you had some examles of what you like…

novembers doom katatonia draconian my dying bride paradise lost (pre 1997)

great albums : the dreadful hours, the light at the end of the world (my dying bride) the great cold distance, last fair deal gone down (katatonia) of sculptured ivy and stone flowers (novembers doom) GOTHIC (paradise lost) where lovers mourn, arcane rain fell (draconian)

these would go into doom and goth genre, I went “holy sh*t! this is awesome” when I first listened to these

Screamo: Attack Attack, Rage Against The Macheine, I Set My Friends On Fire (my favorite is “But The NUNS Are Watching”) and that’s about it unless you get more specific
