My Sunday school class at church is compleatly redoing our classroom. We are doing the theme forest of learning. The group has people 12-14 Year old so it needs to be age appropriate. We need sayings about youth and nature please help! Any idea would be helpful!! Thx -Carter
The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the rivers (Psalm 24:1-2). The heavens are Thine, the earth also is Thine; The world and all it contains, Thou hast founded them (Psalm 89:11). “Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created” (Revelation 4:11). When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses (Jeremiah 10:13).
Scripture says "For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips" Proverbs 8:7. So what is abomination? Anything that sets it's self up against God, the maker of heaven and earth. Wicca is witchcraft and it is against God; so the spirit that is spoken about (ecstasy) is a perverse and lustful spirit and one of mind control. We are to worship the creator and not the creation.
1 Timothy 4:12a; 2 Timothy 2:6-8; Jesus taught much about nature so I would also suggest read the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
