What are some fun crafts a teenager would like?

I like to do crafts that I will use in the future-LIKE room decoration. I get bored, so I eat, I need to do some crafts, so I can keep my mind off of food. If there is a craft website, please tell me! Thanks! These crafts would need to be for teenagers(NOT little kids) and also something I won’t have to go out and buy something for it(example-a kit to go with)

marbleizing paper is fun, all you need is some cheap foam shaving cream, watercolor paints (and water), and some paper. take the shaving cream and smear it over a table (it even cleans smooth surface counters), take some watercolors and splash them onto the shaving cream, then take the end of the paint brush (or some other pointed tool) and run it through the colored shaving cream in a swirlly design. then take the paper and place it on top of the colored shaving cream and let the paper absorb the pigment for a few seconds, then remove the paper from the shaving cream and clean the shaving cream off the paper by taking a hard flat something and swiping it off. the color wont come off when you do this, but the paper may be moist so be careful you dont rip it. you can reuse the shaving cream by mixing it all together and smearing it on the table again and doing all the steps all over again (dont worry about the changing color of the shaving cream, it wont absorb onto the paper if it’s mixed into the shaving cream). also, if you used a lot of water color, try adding another sheet of paper before you mix the shaving cream. its a lot of fun and if you use computer paper and you let it dry then you can print on it. hope this helps! another fun thing to do is make string bracelets with colored string that you can buy at joann fabrics.

Try this site for some good things to make and do:

http://www.craftster.org/

It has many different categories. Personally I like to make greetings cards and suchlike, or knit/ sew. Knitting is a fairly cheap hobby an you can make a wide variety of things. You will need the starting cost of a couple of needles and wool. but wool is cheap to buy and it will go quite far in terms of the amount you can do with it.
