Monitor picture moving

I was settin here reading some questions and the picture started to move. im not talkin like a picture of someone its more like the whole monitor picture. what could cause that???!

Answer #1

Oscillating power supply. Happened to me once when I switched on a small fan plugged into the same receptacle. Thanks PP.

Answer #2

It might have been a very short power drop. When power strength fluctuates, the electron stream in a CRT (the monitor) bunches up causing the picture to shrink, then expand again when the power regains full strength. If this is what it was, it means your power source is ‘dirty’. Make sure that you have a good surge protector for your computer or it could be destroyed.

All computers should have a surge protector, anti-virus, regular updates, two-way firewall, anti-spyware, and regular backups. Stay safe, take care, and Good Luck!!

Answer #3

well, I think that you may have a virus. check it out and see.
