Which web browser is the best between Firefox and Opera?

I want opinions and suggestions cause I’m thinking about switching

If you’re on a mobile device…Opera, b/c there isn’t a Firefox option :) If you’re on a desktop or laptop…Firefox, as you’re probably going to be happier with the rendering of pages (each browser has it’s own quirks)…and I think the latest Firefox is newer than the latest opera browser.

In my opinion opera because i use it on my phone as another easier optiion for internex, and it fast, and also easier to use. But as for firefox, we had that last year @ my old school and it would cause viruses but idk if it was just the school ‘s cheap computers or what but i dnt trust it.

I agree with Jeremy. Firefox is your best bet. I do like some features of Opera like the speed boost for some things, but that’s about it. Firefox all the way.

firefox 4 beta is amazing. everything from 3.x.x works with it. only prob im having is i cant sign into online banking with ff4 but thats because its still an unknown version of teh browser and my bank is just being extra safe. the fox is safe, fast and you can make it look and feel pretty much exactly just the way you want.

Basic firefox doesn’t have much over opera, they are on about equal footing IMO. But the fact you can load all shorts of custom addons into firefox is what really puts it ahead. So my vote is for FF
