Staying mentally active and eating lots of brain food, like bananas (high in potassium) Playing memory games to help keep your mind alert and active.

Unfortunately women are more likely to develop dementia than men, due to low oestragen after menopause (oestragen has a big effect on cognition). Best things you can do is look after your brain - dont drink too much and keep using it!

@ Patricia have you heard that recently there has been a new belief that people who don’t use their brain a lot in life are less likely to develop dementia when they get older? This is based on the Wear and Tear theory.
