What are ways to anchor a wig on?

i have a wig and i like to wear it, but it comes off alot. my mother is cornrowing my hair and will that help anchor my wig on? ( i cant afford anything like wig tape and such) so i was hoping there are some other ways to hold my wig on? like braid my hair and have bobby pins to anchor it on?

Any help? (Except wig tape or the “glue”)

yes, you can bobby pin it in. Just start from the front, and get your mom to add them in layers from front to back to keep the wig on. if not you can use a silicon wig cap.
