Answer #2

I don’t think it,s cause of your age may be she just knows that you will ring up a high bill and just doesn’t want2 pay it I’m all so 16 and I don’t have 1 either

Answer #3

yea you r.im 16 as well and my parents dont want to pay for a phone, bill, texting, etc. so I have to get one myself.im in the same boat your in.

Answer #4

every one has their different times when they should get a cell phone, so although 16 is technically old enough, you may in her eyes still not be mature enough no offense find out why she dosnt want you to have one maybe you can talk it out and compromise or somethin! but just make shur with her that you wont abuse the privlige of having a cell phone and calling all the time when you do get one

Answer #5

YEAH your OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE ONE

Answer #6

I think youre old enough. say to them it would be a good idea to have a phone in case you are in some sort of trouble and you need to get hold of them (emergency reasons) start using it more frequintly and they will get used to it ( : if they refuse to pay the phone bills then you will have to pay them if you want a phone really badly anyway… good luck

Answer #7

I got one when I was 12..your old enough!

Answer #8

Sit down with her calmly and ask her the reasons - respect her answer - if she says not now, ask at what age…Takecare !!

Answer #9

OMG! You´re sooo old enough. I got my first cellphone at the age of 11!!!
