Who watches Downton Abbey?

It’s a British drama series set in the Edwardian era and the first world war on an estate called ‘Downton Abbey’ it’s set in North Yorkshire. It covered 1916-1919 and in the christmas special it was dec 1919- Jan 1920. It’s actually shown in the US :)

I’ve seen ads on TV about it but I’ve never actually watched it, it’s just not my type of show.

I’ve been debating whether or not to watch it. I like the historical dramas - and Dame Maggie Smith is just amazing in anything she does - but the Edwardian period isn’t exactly my favourite. Might give it a go though ^_^

I’m wondering whether i should watch it too or not. All my friends seem to but whenever its on the way its set doesn’t appeal to me:/

after you start watching it you forget that its a period drama… full of scandal! :L

I just started - have watched the first three episodes and will continue as long as it doesn’t take on soap opera qualities :)

What is it abt it sounds great

a drama set in 1912-1919 in england and it follows an estate with the lords and ladys and their servents… its really good :)
