Why can't I watch movies, or videos on my computer?

When I go to youtube, or anything that has videos, clips, or movies, I can’t watch them because it is like in slow motion. It keeps skipping. Also, why can’t I hear anything, I make sure my volume is turned all the way up, plug my head phones into the headphone plug in my tower, but still no sound. I have Microsoft Windows XP professional.

on line videos will skip if your on dial up

update your flash to teh latest version. i think its 10.1 and let us know if it sorts out the slow loading problem

to bo honest i havent used xp in years but if you go into control panel - sound options and just make sure its enabled… also run windows update just to make sure your all upto date

I don’t know how to do that stuff, not good with computer’s and stuff, do you have links to the latest version of flash or whatever, and how do I run windows update? My volume and everything is enabled, it just won’t work…

if theres any software there have a look for an updated version of your sound driver. if you know the make and model of your sound card/onboard go to the manufacturers website and get the latest driver from there… erm if the speakers are 100% ok and your sound is working and you cant hear anything like you said then i belive its a corrupted driver prob.. so get it updated and let me know if it sorts it out..
