Do you watch Disney Channel or do you think it's materialistic now?

I think the shows are really dumb they have nothing interesting on there and it’s been that way for awhile I hope they change it cause I love cartoons

no. I hate the new Disney channel. just about everything on terr is about the same stuff. Their all singers or something musical or it’s just something stupid that doesn’t even make sense, like that fish show. I miss the old Disney channel with tamone & pumba, herculies, gargoyles Doug, & all those good cartoons. Now it’s just crap. t.t

I think that channel is for little kids, like 5-11 age group, ive never really cared for that channel

yhh, they should bring back the proper Disney cartoons like Mickey mouse and Belle not all this hannah montana crap… and the programmes on there now are stupid and just annoying.. :||

i dont think the new disney channel is completely awful, but i do agree with TwiddleMuffin because its true. the new channel is very materialistic. Theres just something about it that seems too wishy-washy (i wish i didnt have to use that term, but its the only one that really explains it). Now when i was little watching the disney channel was a HUGE DEAL to me because we didnt have cable and i always loved everything on there. Not anymore. Now when i watch it i just expect the same themes,un funny jokes, laugh tracks where there shouldnt be, and every character on the show will become a singer. I think as a guilty pleasure the channel is okay. but its just now what it used to be anymore. Imagine what Walt Disney would say if he saw what they did to Mickey Mouse.

I hate Disney channel. But once in a while I watch “Good Luck Charlie” it’s kinda good for Disney Channel :)

i agree with twiddlemuffin and Elizabeth, its just the same stuff but different show, now everyone that is on disney they become huge singers and i think that it all started with high school musical, now dont get me wrong its an all right movie but it became such a hughe hit that now thats all they use

yeah it’s like HSM started it…i mean i love some of the new shows cuz they’re funny but yeah i miss a ton of those movies like the lion king and herculies and pochahontas. and they should have done a small limit of those teen comedy shows like that’s so raven and stuck with basically making cartoons that people would remember for years and years as classic all time favs. as well as cartoon movies and animations. I think that if they wanted to make a whole channel of teen comedies they should have done what nicolodeon did and made a whole different channel with a bunch of those and have the original disney channel stay as a bunch of cool cartoons.
